The
Waterway Guides
We have used all three Waterway Guides with great success.
They are updated each year and chock-full of useful information
for your ICW travels. |

Cruising
the Chesapeake: A Gunkholer's Guide
This book by William Schellenberger has been our trusty
companion for several Chesapeake explorations. |
|

|
Claiborne
S. Young's Cruising Guides
Mr. Young has a way with food -- and his books are great guides,
too. Claiborne Young's cruising guides mix nautical
necessaries with the practicalities of cruising: where to eat,
get supplies & fuel, and other pertinent news. We've
never made a bad choice in purchasing his books. |

Skipper
Bob Publications
If you trust us, trust Skipper Bob. Several of the entries
in his ICW Anchorages Guide are directly from our
experience. Check the contributor's listing if you don't
believe me :-) We use his guide to the Bahamas and the ICW
anchorage guide almost daily. |

|
Cruising
Guide to the Florida Keys - Frank Papy
Frank Papy was our only guide on our first trip to the Keys --
It's all we needed! |
|

|
Cruising
Guide to Abaco, Bahamas - Steve Dodge
Steve Dodge's book is the bible for most Abaco cruisers.
We found his information to be helpful and his waypoints deadly
accurate. |
|

|
The
Exuma Guide - Stephen J. Pavlidis
Pavlidis' Exuma Guide was superb for our Exuma
explorations. If you only take two books to the Bahamas,
take this one and Steve Dodge's book above. We've also
purchased Pavlidis guide to the Turks & Caicos, but haven't
applied its knowledge yet |

|
Yachtsman's
Guide to the Bahamas - Thomas Daly
If you have room for a third Bahamas guide, this one is a good
choice. It filled in gaps in the other two and validated
information found in both. |
