We passed by Thomas Point Lighthouse as we tacked our way up the Bay towards Chestertown.  It's still one of our favorite lighthouses.   (9/5/02).

People often ask how we get groceries and supplies to and from the boat.  Here is an example from Chestertown, MD.  Two bicycles, two baskets, two backpacks, one soft-sided cooler, and multiple bags over the handlebars.  There are 3 cases of soft-drinks,  6 bottles of tonic, vegetables, cheeses, etc. all packed into our load.   It was about a 3-mile ride. (9/6/02)

Blaine at the helm during a rough day on the Chesapeake Bay.  Tropical Storm Gustov brought 25-40 knot winds and breaking seas.  Nothing fun about this! (9/11/02)

Eight Island Packets and crews from two other Packets, showed up for another Mini'Vous, this time in Galesville.  It was a little overcast and rainy as the remnants of Tropical Storm Hannah came through, but the smiles, laughs, and camaraderie were  still in full bloom.  (9/17/02)
