Our stop in St. Michaels, MD was timed with a Mini Rendezvous of Island Packet Owners.  We ate, drank, and shared stories late into the night.  The best part of cruising is seeing old friends and making new ones along the way. (8/10/02)

We caught Hayden and Radeen for a photo while  in St. Michaels.  They own Island Spirit, an Island Packet 35. (8/10/02)

Also at the Mini'Vous were our friends aboard Galleon's Lap, the Gabor family..  That's Daniel, Jeff, Claire, and Sharon on the left.  Claire shows off her smile and bright blue eyes before Daniel and Blaine act as a human swing for her.  (8/10/02).

The local wildlife stopped by Charbonneau for a free meal.  They know that Janet can't resist feeding the young ducklings.  (8/16/02)
BaileyYogurt.jpg (77873 bytes)
That lucky dog, Bailey, gets a good lick of Janet's breakfast yogurt.  Max gets to lick the lid and then Bailey gets to clean the container when she's through.  Oh to be a dog!

Our good friends,  David and Teresa Lee, sail out of Herrington Harbour with their Black Lab, Mischief.   We caught up with them here in Annapolis. (8/18/02)

Two ancient lights mark the entrance to the peaceful LaTrappe Creek off the Choptank River (8/22/02)

We went to LaTrappe Creek in order to re-varnish the teak on Charbonneau's toe rail.  What we thought would be simple turned out to be a major job.  The full story is HERE (8/24/02)

The weather looked like rain one day while we were working on the teak.  We took the opportunity to do a little crabbing instead.  (8/27/02)

Some of the day's catch hang out in our 5-gallon bucket.  (8/27/02)
BlaineCrabDinner.jpg (127301 bytes)
Blaine offers a toast to the day's catch.  We only took what we needed for dinner, but you can bet we'll be scooping up more crabs while we're in the Bay.  They were delicious! (8/27/02)
HappyBirthdayBailey.jpg (95433 bytes)BaileyBirthdayTreat.jpg (104931 bytes)
Happy Birthday Bailey!  We celebrated Bailey's eighth birthday on September 1, 2002.  Janet made some special dog treats filled with cream cheese.  (8/27/02)

Here's a close-up look at Janet's hard work.  They earned a full 5-Bark rating with our dogs.  Blaine was tempted to have one himself.(9/1/02)
