| St.
Thomas to Grenada 2000 with our friends Gary and Laurie Rainthorpe
(Silent Partner II). Janet and I spent June 27th to July
11th sailing from St. Thomas to Grenada aboard Silent Partner. We
had just sold our house on June 9th, rushed to move aboard Charbonneau,
decided to have our generator moved and REALLY needed a break from all
the rushing around we'd been doing while trying to leave our land-based
life behind and begin our new water-based adventures. Here are
some shots from the trip. If you ever want a fabulous vacation
charter, consider booking Silent Partner II for a week of your
own. They can be reached through Ed
Hamilton's brokerage.

A lighthouse off
southern Guadeloupe keeps watch as we pass on our way to The Saints (Le
Saintes)

Everyone watches the water colors for reefs as we enter The Saints
anchorage. We were racing against an afternoon thunderstorm.

We had this as our "backyard view" inside the inner
Marigot Bay anchorage -- Made famous by Dr. Doolittle

We were a main
attraction at Marigot Bay as the tourists came in boat after boat

After two weeks, we made St. Georges, Grenada.

Satori (pictured

Valerie. They left NC last November and we met them for dinner in
Grenada -- Just goes to show that we really go out of our way to have
dinner with our friends!
