We visited the Hemingway House in Key West.  Here are some shots of the property.  Beautiful home. (2/8/01)

Here are two pictures from inside the Hemingway house.  The first is Hemingway's workspace.  The second is from the master bedroom.  The interesting part of the bed is that the headboard is made from an old Spanish Monastery fence gate.  It still has the hinges attached.  (2/8/01)

Hemingway loved his cats.  The tradition continues at the historic house.  When we visited, there were 62 cats living in the compound.  (2/8/01)

 Here's Blaine showing off one of two King Mackerel caught on the way from the Marquesas to the Dry Tortugas.  Those Wal-Mart lures are paying off! (2/13/01)

Our first look at Fort Jefferson, Dry Tortugas.  This fort is literally in the middle of nowhere sitting among 7 small sand keys.  But, oh what a wonderful place! (2/13/01)

We shared our King Mackerel catch with friends from "Splash Dance" and Jule III.  Max gets lots of loving attention from Ann (Jule III) while Mike (Splash Dance) catches up on some of our magazines.  Later, Toby (right) shares some of his music while Mike strums along.  (2/13/01)

Lobster dinner in the Dry Tortugas.  Top Left -- we traded local fishermen 6 sodas for 5 lobsters!!  Top Right -- Our cook Ren (Magic) supervises the grilling.  Bottom -- The dinner crew (L-R) Ren and Barbara (Magic), Toby, Ann and Bob Todd (Jule III),&  Janet and I.  It was DELICIOUS!! (2/17/01)
