A view from the
top of White Point, Great Guana Cay. Jack's Bay on the left and
White Bay on the right. (2/3/03)
Janet's brother
and sister-in-law, Den and Debbie, joined us for 10 days. Here they
are posing with our latest beach creation - King Rocktune. (2/2/03)
We chanced upon a
group of nesting Ospreys. Their large nest is in the left part of
the picture. One of the parent birds stands watch. He wasn't too
happy when we got close enough to take the picture (2/2/03)
Den and Debbie
enjoy the view from Charbonneau's bow. (2/2/03)
A hike across
Cambridge Cay is always good exercise. Den and Debbie pose for a
tourist photo in front of Bell Rock. (2/3/03)
Bailey takes a
break on top of Cambridge Cay. The anchorage is in the background.
(2/3/03)
We had a visitor
join us for our picnic lunch on Pasture Cay: A big iguana.
(2/3/03)
While Debbie
wasn't too keen with our visitor, Den and Janet made friends with the
locals. Den decided that the iguana really likes bananas. (2/3/03)
A cool swim in one
of our favorite swimming holes is the perfect way to end a warm day.
(2/3/03)
Den and Debbie pose for a photo while we played tourists at Club
Thunderball. We snorkeled through the Thunderball Grotto earlier -
where scenes from the Bond movie were shot. (2/4/03)
We finally had a chance to sail between Black Point and Little Farmer's
Cay. (2/6/03)
We played a little volleyball during the Farmer's Cay Festival (2/7/03)
The locals raced their sailboats during the Festival while some of the
local kids spent their time fishing. (2/8/03)
Den and Debbie spend their last evening in George Town, enjoying another
great sunset from Volleyball Beach. (2/7/03)
We enjoyed another of Eileen Quinn's free concerts at Volleyball Beach,
George Town. What you don't see is that the board she is standing
upon reads "Clothing optional beyond this point". Somehow
it seemed fitting for a beach concert (2/15/03)
