Don't try this at home.  Janet and I on the bow while our autopilot is in control.  (Photo courtesy of Hayden Cochran)  (9/29/03)

You'll have to suffer through another shot of the Thomas Point Light, near Annapolis.  It's one of our favorite lighthouses and we couldn't resist taking more pictures when we passed by.  (9/30/03)

More hurricane damage.  This was the walkway for the South Hall Landing Marina after Isabel came through.  What a twisted mess.  (10/2/03)
GreatBridgeLockJanet.jpg (203497 bytes)
Janet handles our bow line as we go through the Great Bridge Lock.  The Dismal Swamp Canal, our normal route, was closed because of Hurricane Isabel.  (10/3/03)
GreatBridgeSwingBridge.jpg (201613 bytes)
Traffic jam at the Great Bridge swing bridge.  (10/3/03)
NorthCarolinaCourtesyFlagBlaine.jpg (206683 bytes)
Several thousand miles after our departure for Maine and Nova Scotia, Blaine hoists up our North Carolina courtesy flag.   (10/3/03)
NorthCarolinaGreen23Sunset1.jpg (140430 bytes)
Our last night at anchor on this trip.  Mother Nature treated us to a wonderful sunset at our anchorage on the Upper Pungo River. (10/4/03)
NorthCarolinaGreen23Sunset2.jpg (138450 bytes)
When it's your last sunset at anchor for a while, you take two pictures.  We'll miss these watery sunsets while we're on our charity motorcycle ride, but are looking forward to seeing the sun set over places like the Grand Canyon.  (10/3/03)
