One of our favorite
anchorages in the Choptank River is just inside LaTrappe Creek.
Here are two photos of Charbonneau taken from the small sand spit where
we walked the dogs each day (9/15/05)
These photos
never turn out near as good as the real thing, but this was a beautiful
moon rising over LaTrappe Creek. (9/15/2005)
Bailey and
Blaine often enjoy the morning sunrise together while the rest of the
crew is still sleeping. Here's a smiling Bailey in San Domingo
Creek near St. Michaels, MD (9/17/2005)
A public dinghy
dock in San Domingo Creek shares the docks with the areas local crab
boats shown here. (9/17/2005)
Charbonneau
enjoyed a visit with our friends aboard Taking Paws, shown here rafted
up in Mill Creek, near Annapolis. (9/18/2005)
Sailing under
the Bay Bridge between Annapolis and the eastern shore. (9/19/2005)
If you think Max
& Bailey are too big for boat living, check out these great dogs
aboard Salty Dog - a Mariner 38 trawler owned by Will and Jan from
Pasadena, MD. You're right - that's a Saint Bernard and a
Bernice! (9/19/2005)
Charbonneau
anchored off Historic Chestertown, MD on the eastern shore. (9/20/2005)
We enjoyed an
evening of bluegrass music performed aboard a schooner tied alongside
Chestertown's public dock. (9/21/2005)
The people of
Chestertown seemed to adopt this goose who had laid her eggs on a
small natural area of the public dock. They brought her food and
water daily as she waited for her eggs to hatch. (9/22/2005)
Blaine and the
dogs relax in Chestertown's downtown park where we found a local WIFI
network to check our email. (9/23/2005)
The streets were
overflowing at this year's Fall Fest in Rock Hall, MD (9/24/2005)
The highlight of
the Fall Fest (for us) every year is the Catonsville HS Steel
Band. These kids know how to rock a steel drum! (9/24/2005)
Send in the
clowns... (9/24/2005)
It's not Fall
Fest without a dock party at Rock Hall's Spring Cove Marina. (9/24/2005)
