The people that build the docks and facilities for the Annapolis boat show were incredible to watch.  They started bringing in the floating docks at 7:00am and were driving piles by 8:00.  First boats arrived for the show at noon.  Talk about an efficient operation!

This was our entertainment for several days.  The students at the Naval Academy were taking turns on what we called "Dope on a Rope"  They'd hook up 5 or 10 midshipmen and lift them by helicopter about 1000 feet while they dangled from the line.  10/5/00

How do cruisers know when it's time to go south again?  When they have to pull out ALL their cold weather gear.  Janet said "THIS SUCKS"!
