The people that
build the docks and facilities for the Annapolis boat show were
incredible to watch. They started bringing in the floating docks
at 7:00am and were driving piles by 8:00. First boats arrived for
the show at noon. Talk about an efficient operation!

This was our
entertainment for several days. The students at the Naval Academy
were taking turns on what we called "Dope on a Rope"
They'd hook up 5 or 10 midshipmen and lift them by helicopter about 1000
feet while they dangled from the line. 10/5/00
