Bailey and Max relax
as we cross a very settled Gulf Stream enroute to West End, Grand
Bahama (1/09/02)
|

After a few
hours hove-to offshore, we sight West End early the next
morning. (1/10/02)
|

Charbonneau
rests quietly in her slip after the 22 hour sail from Florida. (1/10/02)
|
|

Blaine and the
dogs take a hammock break on the beach at West End. (1/11/02)
|

We left Ft.
Pierce with all our foul weather gear on (to stay warm). West End
seems thousands of miles from there now with the warm sun, sand, and
waters. (1/11/02)
|

Navigating in
the Bahamas has been a little different than the US based marking system
we're used to. That's a tire on a pole - and its listed as an aid
to navigation on the charts! Love this place! (1/15/02)
|
|

Janet rests on the beach at Moraine Cay with Max and Bailey (1/16/02)
|

Bailey enjoys
his day at the beach by guarding his tennis ball. Looks like he's
worn out by the end of the day. (1/16/02)
|

Max is a little
more active on the beach. Look at all that sand on him!!
Time for a long bath in the cockpit. (1/16/02)
|
|

'Charbonneau'
swinging at anchor off Powell Cay, Abacos (1/17/02)
|

Jan and I pose
for a picture next to a wreck on Powell Cay. We're hoping to keep
'Charbonneau' from ending up in this situation! That's her in the
upper right hand corner. (1/17/02)
|

We stopped in at
the Green Turtle Club on Green Turtle Cay. It was our first stop
at a marina since our check-in at West End. Nice setting with all
the tropical amenities. (1/23/02)
