Not all dog
landings are created equal. We had to drag the dinghy quite a ways
to shore in very shallow water while visiting Governor's Harbour.
(5/18/02)

We came upon an
incredibly charming resort in Alabaster Bay, Eleuthera. Meet
Enrico and Federica who run CocoDiMama.
Stop by to see them and say hello to Phoebe, their friendly puppy. (5/18/02)
|

Janet and I
celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary at CocoDiMama's restaurant.
The food was superb Italian fare with five-star ambiance. (5/18/02)

The 'Glass
Window' in Eleuthera is a place where the Atlantic breaks over the
island and rushes into the Bight of Eleuthera Island. Pretty
impressive when you get this close. (5/23/02)
|

Janet teeters
near the cliff's edge near the Glass Window. The Atlantic was
kicking up a good swell when we were there. I think that's a smile
of fear - she hates heights! (5/23/02)

Harbour Island,
Eleuthera proudly claims to have the world's pretties pink-sand
beaches. The views were pretty convincing. (5/25/02)

|

A local Bahamian
entertains the crowd with his horse along Harbour Island's
beaches. (5/25/02)
|

The girls from
Triana Marie show off their sand sculpture skills at Harbour
Island. L-R Dani, Meggi, and Ali. (5/25/02)
|

Max and Bailey
dress up for a picture on Tahiti Beach, Abacos. (6/1/02)
|
|

As we near the
end of our winter in the Bahamas, we take a last swim with the dogs.
(6/1/02)
|

A trip to the
Bahamas wouldn't be complete without visiting Hope Town. We
stopped by on our way north as we were heading back to the US (6/03/02)
|

Three days
offshore from the Abacos to Charleston. We passed this sailboat at
sunset one evening. It was a fitting end to a wonderful six months
in the Bahamas. (6/8/02)
