Bahamas
Bound 2001-2002
Page 1
This Adventure
begins in the Chesapeake Bay during the late Fall, 2001. We left
Rock Hall, Maryland as the cold air began settling in for the
winter. We were ready to go after being chained to a marina for
six weeks for lightening repairs.

Sunrise
as we leave Elizabeth City heading for Belhaven, NC (11/04/01) |

The sunrise as
we left Elizabeth City came as a full moon was still high in the sky
behind us. We couldn't get it all in one picture so we cheated and
'doctored' this photo. (11/04/01)

retirement. (11/11/01)

There is nothing
quite so satisfying as flying a cruising chute offshore. We never
knew this until we flew ours (for the first time!) on the trip from
Beaufort, NC to Charleston. This sail will get lots of air-time
aboard 'Charbonneau'. (11/19/01)
